Rising Stars: Jason Patel

British actor and singer Jason Patel stars alongside Bohemian Rhapsody actor Ben Hardy in Unicorns, out in cinemas July 5. The queer, cross-cultural romance follows an unexpected relationship between a mechanic and a drag queen, with Patel's breakout performance earning him a place on Screen Daily's Stars of Tomorrow 2024 list. The Manchester born performer also features in crime thriller Virdee, coming to BBC One this year, and releases his debut EP delicious on July 15.
