British broadcaster and journalist Anita Rani has been named an ambassador for international tour operator Discover the World, and will front a 12 month campaign that encourages people to embrace travel and adventure.

Rani commented 'Discover the World and my own values are very closely aligned, which is why I was so delighted to accept this opportunity to travel to some incredible destinations and really push myself to "say yes to adventure". I will be straying far away from any sun lounger or spa to experience the raw power of nature in many different forms, from volcanic landscapes, glacial lagoons, towering waterfalls and lush rainforests'.
