South Sudanese-British model Alek Wek stars in Betsey Johnson's spring/summer 2025 campaign, nearly 30 years after her iconic catwalk wig toss at the designer’s autumn 1998 fashion show.

Wek commented 'When you say Betsey Johnson for me it makes me happy, for me it makes me smile, it makes me think no restrictions. I just love the looks that she puts me in. When I had the blonde wig and the glasses, I felt like a badass. It’s the energy that you can be yourself that Betsey Johnson has. It wouldn’t be fashion without her'.
