British TV presenter James May has teamed up with Downton Distillery to create a new vegan gin, made with mushrooms and patchouli, called the JG 05 California Dreamgin' by James Gin.

May commented 'California Dreamgin' is a compassionate, plant-based product certified by the Vegan Society and is based on mushrooms, since mushrooms are a vital source of protein for those who have recognised that meat is murder'.
