After graduating from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London-based actress Laura Marcus made her TV debut in 2022 in an episode of BBC drama Silent Witness, before gaining public attention as Jinx in Jack Whitehall’s popular sitcom Bad Education.

This year saw her star in period crime drama Miss Scarlet and The Duke, BBC drama The Jetty, and season two of Starz historical drama The Serpent Queen, opposite Samantha Morton and Minnie Driver. Later this year, Marcus can be seen in the second series of the Prime Video thriller The Devil's Hour, as well as Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and DB Weiss’s new Netflix miniseries Death by Lightning, set for release in early 2025.
