20 year old British swimmer Oliver Morgan began lessons at the age of four and started swimming competitively at the age of ten.
He won the gold medal in three categories at the British Swimming Championships last year, and later won both the 100 and 200 metres backstroke races at the 2024 Aquatics GB Swimming Championships. Morgan's win in the 100 metres was a new national record, in a time of 52.7 seconds, breaking the previous record set 15 years ago. As a result of his success at the British Championships, Morgan sealed his place at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
