Actor and presenter Ruben Reuter, who began his career at CBBC starring in The Dumping Ground, has become a familiar face on Channel 4 News as the broadcaster’s disability correspondent.

The 23 year old, who himself has Down’s Syndrome, explores the challenges faced by disabled people and shares stories from underrepresented communities, resulting in nominations at The Sense Awards, The London Press Awards and The British Journalism Awards. This year, Reuter is working on a documentary for Channel 4, due for release in the coming months.
