Ruby Clyde, a London based writer, comedian and author, is a founding member of The LOL Word, a 'queer women, trans and non-binary comedy collective' which has organised sell-out runs at The Edinburgh Fringe and Soho Theatre.

Off-stage, Clyde has written additional material for Frankie Boyle's New World Order, Mock the Week, Sophie Duker, Chloe Petts and Sarah Keyworth, and in released their debut YA novel Jay's Guide to Crushing It, a book about gender identity and first love. The comic is also back at the Fringe in 2023 as part of comedy duo Shelf, performing their show Teenage Men.
