Jay-Z's The Shawn Carter Foundation and Robert Kraft's Foundation to Combat Antisemitism have announced a fund to stop the spread of book bans and protect educational freedom.

The Brooklyn Public Library have received $1.5m to support its Books Unbanned initiative, which aims to 'preserve culture, expand diversity of thought... and stop the spread of all hate and to ensure history does not repeat itself'.
