The The Prince of Wales has been named Royal Patron of Welsh Air Ambulance.

Through the patronage, the Royal will champion the work of those on the frontline, and the charity's Chief Executive Sue Barnes commented 'The Prince has had first-hand experience of working in the unique and often challenging air ambulance environment. His work, along with The Princess of Wales, in highlighting the need for mental health support for frontline emergency workers is something that is appreciated and wholeheartedly supported by our charity'.
