Lukita Maxwell, still a relatively unknown Los Angeles based actress, could reach household name status in her upcoming role in Netflix's The Young Wife.

The drama, produced by Barack and Michelle Obama, tells the story of a young woman grappling with the meaning of love and commitment on her wedding day and stars Leon Bridges and Judith Light. The Indonesian actress also appears in Apple TV series, Shrinking, opposite Harrison Ford and Jason Segel.
