American model Adesuwa Aighewi has launched an online fair-trade jewellery marketplace, Legacy, which prioritises ethical practices as well as celebrating symbols and materials from the model's Nigerian, Thai and Chinese heritage.

Aighewi shared her aspirations for the brand, commenting 'The objective is to eliminate the middleman, so that the money from the clothes and accessories we sell goes straight back to the people who made them. Eventually the goal is an artist residency. I want to cover all of Africa, I want to cover all the craftsmanship skills. I want to have the craziest collaborations'.
