Markella Kavenagh, an up and coming Australian actress, appears opposite Morfydd Clark and Sir Lenny Henry in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, a prequel to the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Released on Amazon Prime in September, Kavenagh plays the character of the harfoot, Nori Brandyfoot. The 20 year old made her professional acting debut with the TV series Romper Stomper in 2018, and has since starred in TV shows including My Life is Murder (2019) and The Gloaming (2020), as well as the film My First Summer. Additionally the young actress has joined the cast of Australian TV show, Bad Behaviour, an adaptation of Rebecca Starford's novel of the same name, due for release on Australian streaming service, Stan, later this year.
