Akemi Fox, one of Manchester’s promising R&B up and comers, is representing the DIY generation, collaborating with her longtime producer, Teo.

Since the release of her 2020 debut single, Lemon Tea, the singer has caught the attention of tastemakers from BBC Radio 1Xtra, including Victoria Jane who included her track I Want It on her Future Soul tracklist, and Tidal who added Fox to their Rising: R&B playlist. Next month, Fox plays a hometown show, as well as a debut London headline gig at The Social.
