British journalist Victoria Derbyshire is set to join BBC Newsnight as joint lead presenter, alongside Kirsty Wark and Faisal Islam, from September 2022.

News correspondent Jon Kay has also been unveiled as a new regular presenter on BBC Breakfast, and will appear on the flagship show with Sally Nugent from Monday to Wednesday weekly.
