Gemma Owen, British international dressage rider and daughter of former footballer Michael Owen, was named as one of the contestants in the eighth series of Love Island, which began on June 6.

The 19 year old from Chester already has a growing following on social media, where she models the swimwear from her own brand OG Beachwear, and shares content on her dedicated equestrian account, documenting her dressage career representing Great Britain.
