BRIT nominated singer/songwriter Joy Crookes has teamed up with fashion and footwear brand Timberland for the My Community, Our Nature campaign, first launched last year, aiming to 'make a real change for young people with creative aspirations' in her local community via new initiatives, including a 'career pathways programme and a transformative urban greening project'.
The 19th Floor hitmaker joined a group of young people on a recent 'field trip' through the partnership, and commented 'I think spending time outside the city and in green spaces, I find it much easier to be creative and to sort through my creative ideas. I feel like my heart rate has decreased and I’m ready to go back a lot calmer'.
