Music artists including Wet Leg, Self Esteem, 100 gecs, The Linda Lindas, and Mereba have been named among the new cohort of 25 artists joining Fender Musical Instruments Corporation's fourth annual artist development programme, Fender Next, 'designed to elevate rising musicians that are pushing guitar forward in music and culture'.

The programme offers artists Fender gear and marketing support 'to share their story and connect with millions of music fans worldwide', and Evan Jones, CMO of Fender, commented 'The 2022 Fender Next class is an exceedingly creative bunch that represents a diverse span of musical genres.
