Aida Osman, who made her debut in TV mini series Group Therapy, has been cast in Issa Rae's HBO Max comedy series Rap Sh*t.

The 23 year old Nebraska native was not only cast in Rae's comedy, but was tasked to develop the script, largely due to her successful stint in the writers' room on HBO skateboarding comedy, Betty. Osman is set to star in upcoming Barack and Michelle Obama produced feature drama, The Young Wife, appearing opposite Kiersey Clemons and Leon Bridges.
