Nikki May, author of Wahala, released her debut novel earlier this month, focusing on female friendship, heritage, and revenge.
The Bristol born, British-Nigerian writer was inspired by her own cultures, translating her ideas following a short online writing course with Curtis Brown. May has also announced Wahala is set to be adapted into a BBC TV series by screenwriter Theresa Ikoko.
