Taylor Swift has been revealed as the first global Record Store Day ambassador for 2022, ahead of the event's 15th anniversary on April 23.

The Willow hitmaker follows in the footsteps of former UK ambassadors Noel Gallagher, Rag'N'Bone Man, and The Big Moon, and is set to release a special Record Store Day vinyl in celebration of the event. Swift commented 'The places where we go to browse and explore and discover music new and old have always been sacred to me. Record stores are so important because they help to perpetuate and foster music-loving as a passion'.
