Sophie Thatcher, 21, is set to make a name for herself on the small screen after being cast in Showtime's coming of age drama Yellowjackets.

Starring opposite two of Hollywood's most notable former child stars, Juliette Lewis and Christina Ricci, the American actress joins the cast as a highly talented female soccer player, where she and her fellow teammates are the unlucky survivors of a mysterious plane crash. Thatcher, also rumoured to star in the next series of Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian, has previously appeared in Chicago Med, The Exorcist and Tomorrow Man.
