Scottish footballer Kieran Tierney has been named an ambassador for The Scottish SPCA, using his 'passion about animal welfare' to support the charity.
The Arsenal defender shared the news on Instagram and Twitter, posting 'I’m proud to be an ambassador for Scotland’s animal welfare charity the Scottish SPCA. In 2020, they responded to 78,000 reports of animals in need which is over 210 every day. They rehomed almost 4000 animals and released over 3000 wild animals back to the wild. I’m looking forward to working with their special investigations unit to help raise awareness of crimes against animals'.
