Welsh racing cyclist Elinor Barker has been named an ambassador for bicycle insurance company Laka, in a partnership which has been described as a 'no brainer' by the brand's CEO, with plans for Barker to 'encourage more women and girls to take up cycling'.
Barker, set to compete at the postponed Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games this year, shared the news on Instagram, posting 'Really happy to announce that I’m now a @lakahq ambassador! I’m really grateful to have their support and I can’t wait for some exciting things to come later this year 🤩'.
