Yasmin Finney, 17, has garnered a huge following on TikTok, receiving praise for her groundbreaking content about her experience as a Black trans woman growing up in Manchester.

The British teenager, already described as a key influential figure within the trans community and beyond, is also set to make a name for herself as a rising actress, having been recently cast in the upcoming film What If?, the directorial debut of Pose star Billy Porter, in which she plays Kelsa, an 'unflappable trans girl' navigating a relationship while in her senior year of high school. Finney was also named on GLAAD's 20 Under 20 list, recognising 'the LGBTQ youth shaping the future', in late June 2021.
