BT has enlisted football stars including Marcus Rashford, Rio Ferdinand, Lucy Bronze, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jesse Lingard, Gareth Bale, Jordan Henderson, and Karen Carney, for its Hope United initiative, forming a squad focused on uniting the nation and tackling online abuse.
Through the initiative, the players and managers will share their own experiences of online abuse while promoting BT's online platform, www.bthopeunited.com, which offers people advice on how to tackle the issue, and Rashford shared the news on Instagram, posting 'Let’s take down online hate 👊'.
