Conner Ives, an American fashion designer from Bedford, New York, already has an impressive amount of work on his CV, despite only graduating from Central Saint Martin’s last year.
Often using his rural American upbringing as inspiration for his womenswear collections, Ives first shot to fame after working with British supermodel Adwoa Aboah and designing her dress for the Met Gala in 2017 aged just 21. From then onwards, the emerging designer has had to balance his (now completed) studies with creating capsule collections for retailers including Browns and designing for Rihanna’s Fenty fashion label. Most recently, Ives was named one of the nine finalists of this year’s prestigious LVMH Prize, the winner of which will be announced later this year.
