Dami Olonisakin, better known by her Instagram and Twitter handle, Oloni, started her award-winning sex and relationships blog, Simply Oloni, when she was a teenager in 2008.

Now aged 30, British-Nigerian Olonisakin has become well known for handing out advice and provoking discussions around consent, dating and sexual assault, among other issues faced by women, with her 300k+ Twitter and Instagram followers, most famously inviting them to share their experience with the catchphrase ‘Ladies…’. Dubbed ‘The UK’s loudest megaphone for women's sexual rights’ by the NewStatesman last year, Olonisakin has progressed from running a successful blog and social media accounts to hosting her own podcast, Laid Bare, and fronting her own BBC Three series, My Mate’s A Bad Date, in 2019.
