British TV personality Christine McGuinness has been announced as ambassador for Caudwell Children, and will work to help families across the UK 'access the support and expertise the charity offers' in relation to autism services and diagnosis.
McGuinness, set to appear with her husband, comedian and presenter Paddy McGuinness, in a new BBC documentary, Autism and Our Family, commented 'It’s an honour to become an ambassador for Caudwell Children... Being a mother to three autistic children it’s very close to my heart and something I am very passionate about. I hope with being on board I can use my profile to help raise understanding and awareness for autism and the fantastic job Caudwell Children do'.
