Tottenham MP and Shadow Justice Secretary David Lammy has been announced as an ambassador for The Big Issue, following in the footsteps of fellow ambassadors George Clarke, Sabrina Cohen-Hatton, and Christopher Eccleston.

The Big Issue took to social media to announce the news, posting 'In his new role as The Big Issue's brand ambassador, David Lammy has pledged to campaign against evictions and in favour of an ambitious reskilling programme to help us ride out the recession and avoid the Covid crisis being followed by a homelessness epidemic'.
