Ivano Turco, an Urdang Academy graduate, is set to star in Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber’s upcoming production of Cinderella in 2021.

Making his West End debut in the role of Prince Sebastian, the Zimbabwe-born dancer, who grew up in Milton Keynes, initially auditioned for an ensemble part in July and after getting through the first rounds, performed in front of Lloyd Webber who selected him to play the lead, saying he had ‘natural acting talent, a wonderful voice and an innate charm and warmth’. Speaking to The Evening Standard about his story, the 21 year old commented 'I can’t believe it. It really is the stuff of fairy tales. It is a magical story'.
