An adaptation of the bestselling Karen M McManus YA thriller, Grootel will star opposite The Purge's Marianly Tejada and Grow-ish's Barrett Carnahan in the eight episode series from Tina Fey's Girls4Eva production company. The teen started off his acting career at the FilmBites Screen Academy in his native Australia, before appearing in TV shows including The Legend of Gavin Tanner, Mystery Road and more recently, User Not Found.
