Tottenham Hotspur’s manager and head coach José Mourinho has become ambassador for the club's To Care Is To Do project, a charitable scheme aiming 'to help reduce the gap in educational achievement between children in care and their peers'.
The Portuguese football legend, one of the most decorated managers of all time, will invite young people from the project to make regular visits to the Tottenham Hotspur Training Centre, where he'll deliver mentoring sessions, and commented 'Children that have grown up in care often find themselves at a disadvantage when it comes to education and employment opportunities.... This has inspired me to get involved and do whatever I can to work with this group of young people, offer advice and help them believe in themselves'.
