British singer/songwriter Sam Fender has released a cover version of Lindisfarne's Winter Song in support of The Big Issue, with proceeds from the track going to help the publication's vendors 'get through a hard winter'.

The Hypersonic Missiles hitmaker, who appears on a special edition cover of The Big Issue, also worked in collaboration with People of the Streets to create a lyric video for the song, and Fender commented 'Obviously this Christmas is going to be different for everybody, it’s going to be tough for everyone. But most of all, it’s going to be tough for the people who don’t have a home.
