British radio presenter and DJ Dev has joined forces with Vodafone, backing its schools.
connected programme, providing primary and secondary school children across the UK with free connectivity to 'help them access school work from home, catch up on lost learning during school holidays and continue with their education if they are required to isolate'. The Strictly Come Dancing 2019 star recently visited children at Salusbury Primary School to launch the campaign, and Vodafone's CEO, Nick Jeffery, said 'Our focus throughout this crisis has been keeping the UK connected. We know many hundreds of thousands of children in the UK can’t access education from home because they don’t have the right connectivity - this means children already at a disadvantage could fall further behind. We want to help and so have created this emergency support package for 250,000 children and young people... Together, we can ensure no child is left behind'.
