Moses Ingram, an American actress, told The New York Post she was 'prepared for the worst' when she graduated from the Yale School of Drama in 2019, however, shortly after, she landed her first role in Netflix's The Queen’s Gambit, which has been trending on the streaming platform since its late October release.
Appearing opposite The Witch star Anya Taylor-Joy, Ingram plays the main character’s friend, Jolene, and has been lauded by critics as the show’s 'sleeper star', who 'does a lot with a little screen time'. The Baltimore-born actress will next be seen as Lady Macduff in Joel Coen’s adaptation of Macbeth, starring alongside Oscar winners Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand, set for a 2021 release.
