Evann McIntosh, a 16 year old singer/songwriter from Monterey, California, broke into the music industry last year, self-releasing her debut album MOJO, which has garnered over 15 million streams.
The American musician, who first picked up a guitar at the age of nine, spent her early years moving around, due to her father's job in the US Air Force, living in various locations including Florida and Germany, using most of her free time to write, make stories, or sing. Since the release of MOJO, McIntosh has been a hit on social media, conquering TikTok with 2.5 million views, and signed to New York based indie label Mom + Pop over Zoom during the Covid-19 lockdown earlier this year. Her latest track, WIYULD, recorded in her bedroom using GarageBand, is a response to 'grown women being intimidated by a young, confident feminine energy' and has proved popular amongst her loyal fanbase.
