Rachel Ama, a London based chef and vlogger, launched her YouTube channel after turning vegan in her early 20s.
Now, with over 470,000 subscribers on YouTube and 190,000 Instagram followers, Ama has become known for her colourful plant-based recipes and cook-along playlists, inspired by her Caribbean, African and Welsh roots, leading to the publication of her first cookbook, Rachel Ama’s Vegan Eats, last year. Since then, Ama and her recipes have been featured in publications including Vogue, Tatler and Vice, and she's appeared on cooking segments for This Morning and Sunday Brunch. Last November also saw Ama create a new menu for popular vegan eaterie by CHLOE to celebrate World Vegan Month.
