London based model and activist Munroe Bergdorf has teamed up with L’Oréal, joining its newly established UK Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Board and forming a new partnership with the brand, after she was dropped as an ambassador for posting comments about white supremacy three years ago.
Bergdorf spoke with L’Oréal's new President Delphine Viguier earlier this week, receiving an apology for the brand's handling of the situation in 2017, and commented 'It feels good to finally have closure on this matter and I look forward to new beginnings with the L’Oréal team... I hope this reconciliation is proof that we can all find a way to put aside our differences and work together to push for a more progressive, fair and equal world'.
