JK Rowling and her Wizarding World company have launched a weekly Harry Potter At Home event, through which a series of celebrities, including Daniel Radcliffe, Stephen Fry, David Beckham, Dakota Fanning, Claudia Kim, Noma Dumezweni, and Eddie Redmayne, will take turns to read a chapter from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
Rowling launched the series in response to the coronavirus crisis, in a bid to combat boredom and offer educational discussion points for children, and the readings are available to stream on the Wizarding World site and as an audio-only version on Spotify, kicking off with Radcliffe reading chapter one.
