Gabriel Bergmoser, a young Australian author and playwright, recently signed a double book deal with Harper Collins UK.

Starting his career in youth theatre, the Melbourne based writer went on to study a screenwriting Masters at the Victorian College of Arts, and later co-founded independent production company, Bitten By Productions, where his work was shown at the Melbourne Fringe Festival. In 2017 he was nominated for a Kenneth Branagh Award for new drama writing and his latest novel, Sunburnt Country, is being made into a film by Stampede Ventures and Vertigo entertainment.
