Citizen Khan star Adil Ray has partnered with British-Asian celebrities including Ranvir Singh, Naughty Boy, Meera Syal, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Nitin Ganatra, and Ameet Chana, for a video appeal 'promoting safety measures within the British-Asian community amid the coronavirus pandemic'.

A 'significant proportion' of NHS workers who have died as a result of Covid-19 have been from BAME backgrounds, and Ray posted on Twitter 'A few of us felt we needed to do something'.
