The UK's youngest award-winning vegan chef, Omari McQueen, has lent his support to Country Holidays for Inner City Kids (CHICKS)'s coronavirus fundraising appeal.

McQueen, who's been a young carer for his mother, will be sharing his own recipe tutorials with children across the country who aren’t currently able to attend a CHICKS break due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and said 'By supporting CHICKS I want to help children like me who have to look after their parents.... The way I escaped from that was when I was cooking in the kitchen, and I think my cooking was the reason my Mum got better... I can see similarities between me and the children CHICKS helps so that's why I want to help'.
