British former footballer Joe Cole has been announced as an ambassador for HEROES, a new emergency support charity providing 'on the ground funding to the NHS workers on the frontline of the Covid-19 pandemic'.

Cole, who donated £25k to support the initiative, said 'I feel like this is a call of our generation... We need to stick together and these people who are doing what they are doing in hospitals up and down the country it is unbelievable'.
