Japanese fashion designer Chitose Abe has been enlisted to design Jean Paul Gaultier's next collection, making her haute couture debut for AW20 in July.
The veteran French designer, who stepped down as the fashion house's founding designer in January, revealed the news on Instagram, posting 'I have the pleasure to announce the new concept for my Haute Couture. Each season, I will invite a designer to interpret the codes of the House and I am doubly pleased that Chitose Abe of @sacaiofficial will be the first one!'.
