Luis De Javier, an emerging Spanish fashion designer based in London, graduated from The University of Westminster before interning at the studios of British design icons Vivienne Westwood and Gareth Pugh.
Inspired by the club scenes from the 1980s until the present day, De Javier’s deconstructed designs aim to promote inclusivity, diversity and LGBTQ+ messages, while his collaborators have included former RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Violet Chachki and American fashion designer Betsy Johnson. Recently making his debut at London Fashion Week, De Javier’s Autumn/Winter 2020 corset-heavy collection, titled El Invitado, was praised by LOVE Magazine.
