Pa Salieu, a 22 year old rapper from Coventry, arrived on the UK scene with his single Frontline, blending Afroswing with UK rap, and is gaining support from tastemakers including BBC Radio 1’s Toddla T, Annie Mac and Tiffany Calver.

Turning to a music career after his close friend was killed, Salieu released a series of freestyles and singles, including viral hit Dem A Lie, and has been likened to UK favourite J Hus. This year, the up and comer makes his live debut on Radio 1, with the Saturday night Rap Show’s first freestyle of 2020, and is due to release a mixtape in the summer, which he claims is ‘the best waviest mixtape I can do’.
