29 01 2020

Florence Hunt, a 12 year old British actress, is preparing for her first series regular role in Netflix’s Bridgerton.

Set to debut this year, the show is based on a series of historical romance novels by author Julia Quinn and is being produced by Grey’s Anatomy and How to Get Away with Murder showrunner Shonda Rhimes. The newcomer will play Hyacinth Bridgerton, the youngest of the family who witnesses the romantic entanglements of her older siblings, set in England in the early 1800s. Hunt joins an exciting cast which includes Line of Duty’s Polly Walker, Disney kid Luke Newton, Derry Girls’s Nicola Coughlan, comedian Ben Miller and Julie Andrews, who narrates the show. The young actress’s only other role besides Bridgerton is a credit in Netflix’s Cursed, which also comes out this year and is set to bring the young actress into the spotlight.
