Ema Horvath, 25, is set to become a worldwide name after being cast in Amazon Prime’s TV adaption of J.
R.R Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings trilogy. Despite being a trained theatre actress and graduating from Interlochen Arts Academy, the American chose to press pause on acting in 2012 to study for a BA in English Literature at Harvard, before interning at Blumhouse Productions. Horvath was then given a role in their 2015 thriller Like. Share. Follow., and was later cast in The Mortuary Collection and Viscous. Last year, she starred in The Gallows Act II, before joining the cast of LOTR, where she’ll appear alongside Welsh actress Morfydd Clark.
