British TV personality Rachel Riley has partnered with the Royal Voluntary Service and Yakult, starring in a film encouraging more people to volunteer, as part of the #MakeADifference campaign.
The campaign 'highlights the importance of the charity’s lunch and social clubs' which 'provide older people with a chance to eat a nutritious, hot meal in the company of others' and the Countdown star, who recently visited one of the charity's clubs in Rickmansworth, commented 'Loneliness is one of the worst things in terms of mental health and general wellbeing, so getting people together and having somewhere you can look forward to going to each week is fantastic'.
